Values Education: Rajamahendravaram, February 2025

Ramakrishna Mission, Rajamahendravaram – Values Education Programmes

The Ramakrishna Mission, Rajamahendravaram, conducted two Values Education Programmes on February 7, 2025, at educational institutions in Chelluru and Machavaram villages, East Godavari district. A total of 400 students participated in these sessions. Swami Sevyananda from Ramakrishna Mission, Rajamahendravaram, addressed the students, inspiring them with insightful teachings. As part of the initiative, Swamiji’s literature was distributed to all students, and laminated photos of Swami Vivekananda were presented to the institutions.

Additionally, a Values Education Programme was organized on February 22, 2025, at S.M.V.M. Polytechnic College, Tanuku, West Godavari district, with 378 students participating. The gathering was addressed by Swami Parijneyananda from Ramakrishna Mission, Rajamahendravaram, and Swami Gitasarananda from Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Visakhapatnam. As part of the programme, Swamiji’s literature was distributed to all students, and a laminated photo of Swami Vivekananda was presented to the institution.

Special Virtual Programme for SSC Students

Under the auspices of the Department of School Education, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, the Rajamahendravaram centre organized a special Values Education Programme on February 25, 2025, in virtual mode, on the topic ‘How to Train Your Mind and Focus on the Target’. The session was designed to motivate students preparing for the upcoming SSC board exams.

A remarkable 12,000 students of Class X and 1,000 teachers from 220 government schools participated in this initiative. The session was addressed by:

  • Swami Sevyananda, Ramakrishna Mission, Rajamahendravaram
  • Smt. C. Nagarani, I.A.S., Collector, West Godavari District
  • Sri E. Narayana, D.E.O.

These Values Education Programmes continue to inspire students with the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, reinforcing the importance of character-building, focus, and dedication in their academic and personal lives.
