Ramakrishna Mission Vidyabhavan (H.S.), Midnapore, a sub-centre of Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Medinipur, has been conferred the prestigious Vidyasagar Sera Vidyalaya Samman–2026 by the Department of School Education, Government of West Bengal.
The award was presented by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal at a formal function held on 5 September 2026, on the occasion of National Teachers’ Day.
The award comprises a citation, a trophy, and a cash prize of ₹1,00,000 (Rupees One Lakh). It recognises the institution’s sustained commitment to excellence in education, character building, and the holistic development of students — values that have been central to the educational mission of the Ramakrishna Order since its inception.
