Ramakrishna Mission, Krishnanagar, undertook various welfare and relief activities for the benefit of the poor and devotees during the period from 1 April 2026 to 22 June 2026, details of which are given below.
1. Feeding of the Poor (Daridra Narayan Seva)
Lunch was served to a total of 460 persons on five occasions — 15 April, 9 May, 15 May, 17 May, and 13 June 2026. The menu comprised rice, chicken, dal, vegetable soup, chutney, curd, and two varieties of sweets.
2. Distribution of Fruits
On 17 and 18 May 2026, 100 kg of fruits — including apple, guava, pomegranate, banana, orange, mosambi, mango, and cucumber — were distributed among 100 poor children.
3. Feeding of Devotees
Lunch prasad was served to 305 devotees on two occasions, 15 April and 14 June 2026.
4. Distribution of Food Packets, Toiletries, and Educational Items
On 19 June 2026, food packets, toiletries, and educational items were distributed among 106 underprivileged students of two primary schools — Jangipur Primary School and Ruipukur Primary School, Nadia. The items distributed to each of the 106 students comprised:
- Body oil (50 g) — total 5.3 kg
- Milk powder (100 g) — total 10.6 kg
- Biscuits (400 g) — total 42.4 kg
- Notebook — 106 pieces
- Pencil — 106 pieces
- Nail cutter — 106 pieces
- Toothpaste (50 g) — total 5.3 kg
- Toothbrush — 106 pieces
- Tongue cleaner — 106 pieces
- Toilet soap (75 g) — total 7.95 kg
- Washing soap powder (250 g) — total 26.5 kg
- Hair oil (50 g) — total 5.3 kg
