As part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts to support underprivileged communities during the winter season, Ramakrishna Mission, Bagerhat, Bangladesh, conducted two major distribution drives in December 2025. These activities were carried out in the Khulna and Bagerhat districts in collaboration with local partner organizations.
1. Distribution in Khulna District (December 13, 2025)
To commemorate the auspicious occasion of Maa Sarada Devi’s Tithi Puja, a relief camp was organized in the Khulna district.
- Collaborating Partner: Ramakrishna Sevashrama, Hatiardang (Aamadi Union, Koira, Khulna).
- Items Distributed: 256 Blankets.
- Beneficiaries: Underprivileged families and needy individuals residing in the Koira region.
2. Distribution in Bagerhat District (December 19, 2025)
A second distribution drive was held at the Ashrama premises to provide warmth and protection against the cold for the local community in Bagerhat.
- Venue: Ramakrishna Ashrama premises, P. C. College Road, Bagerhat.
- Collaborating Partner: Vivekananda Shiksha O Sanskriti Parishad, Bagerhat.
- Items Distributed:
- 25 Chadars (Shawls/Wraps)
- 25 Sweaters
- Beneficiaries: Needy individuals from the surrounding local areas of Bagerhat.
Through these collaborative efforts, the Mission successfully provided essential winter wear and bedding to a total of 306 beneficiaries across both districts, ensuring they are better equipped to face the winter months.
