On the auspicious occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s Tithi Puja, Saturday, 10 January 2026, Ramakrishna Math, Cooch Behar, conducted a significant relief distribution drive from the Math campus. The initiative was aimed at supporting residents from various local communities, including Natun Pally, Pashirghat (Ward No. 16), Ghugumari, Harin Chowra, and Cooch Behar Municipality (Ward Nos. 12 & 18).


Distribution Summary

The following items were provided to beneficiaries to assist with health and winter protection:

  • Mosquito Nets: 91 units (distributed to 16 males and 75 females).
  • Blankets: 100 units (distributed to 23 males and 77 females).
  • Socks: 199 pairs (distributed to 39 males and 160 females).
  • Woolen Chadars: 8 units (distributed to 8 females).

Beneficiary Overview

The relief efforts prioritized vulnerable individuals across several wards and neighborhoods:

  • Locations: Natun Pally, Pashirghat, Ghugumari, Harin Chowra, and Cooch Behar Municipality.
  • Reach: The distribution focused heavily on providing essential winter wear and health supplies to both male and female residents in these areas.
