Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Chandigarh, conducted a winter relief programme on November 2, 2025, at Village Jhamda Patti, Tehsil Shahbad Markanda, District Kurukshetra, Haryana.
Essential items were distributed to the needy families to provide support during the winter season. The distribution included:
- 150 winter blankets to 150 families
- 150 food kits (each containing wheat flour 5 kg, oil 1 litre, lentils 2 kg, salt 1 kg, turmeric 200 g, and garam masala 100 g)
- 20 waterproof tarpaulins for roof cover
- 35 school bags (each with notebooks, pencils, erasers, and sharpeners) for children
- 150 buckets for household use
The programme brought much-needed relief and comfort to the beneficiaries, who expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Mission for the timely assistance.
