During the month of December 2025, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Hatamuniguda, conducted a series of winter relief operations to assist underprivileged communities in the Rayagada district of Odisha. The relief work was organized across three major events held on the 3rd, 9th, and 20th of December 2025.
Distribution Details
The Mission provided a comprehensive kit of winter essentials, nutritional supplements, and hygiene products to help families cope with the seasonal cold. The total quantities distributed are as follows:
- Winter Protection: 500 Blankets and 500 tubes of Cold Cream.
- Nutrition: 500 liters of Fruit Juice and 239 sachets of Green Chutney.
- Personal Care & Hygiene: 3,400 sachets of Hair Oil, 399 tubes of Toothpaste, and 160 Toothbrushes.
Outreach and Beneficiaries
The initiative successfully reached 500 families residing in 11 different villages within the Rayagada district. The distribution was aimed at supporting the most vulnerable sections of society, ensuring they have access to basic necessities and health-related items during the peak of winter.
