A one-day awareness program on energy and water conservation was held on July 31, 2024, at the Divyayana Krishi Vigyan Kendra in Morabadi, Ranchi. Organized jointly by the Ramakrishna Mission Ashram, Aspen Enggicon Private Limited, and the Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (JREDA), the workshop aimed to educate farmers and other stakeholders about conserving these vital resources.
Swami Antarananda, Assistant Secretary of the institute, was the chief guest. Other attendees included Dr. A.K. Singh, Program Coordinator of Divyayana Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Dr. Vyas (Trainer), Divyayana trainees, and approximately 90 participants.
The workshop focused on promoting energy and water conservation, highlighting the benefits of non-conventional energy sources, and providing technical information on renewable energy systems and their market potential. Agricultural engineers from Divyayana Krishi Vigyan Kendra, including E.O.P. Sharma, Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Dr. Manoj Singh, Arun Bhakt, and Prafull Siyo, were also present to contribute their expertise.
