In connection with the Celebration of the 125th Anniversary of the Foundation of the Ramakrishna Mission and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Ramakrishna Mission, T.Nagar, Chennai organised a youth convention for our School Students on 30 July 2022. The Programme included Bhajans by Swami Shuddhabrahmanandaji, a talk by Swami Satyaprabhananda ji on the life and message of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarda Devi and Swami Vivekananda.
Mr. APJMJ Sheik Dawood, Co-Founder, APJ Abdul Kalam Foundation, Rameswaram spoke on “Patriotism” and Sri K.M.Padmanabhan, Chartered Accountant, on “Swami Vivekananda’s Influence on our Freedom Fighters”.
In the afternoon session, Sri Suseendran Cheraman, Service Delivery Assurance Lead, Wipro spoke on “Responsibilities of the Youth in Nation Building” by and Sri Sadasivam Narayanan, M.Tech., Design & Mfg., Lead Engineer, Whirlpool, on “Relevance of Swami Vivekananda’s Message to our Youth”.
About 180 students with some teachers attended the programme. Teachings of Swamiji’s, Swamiji Photo and one more book in Tamil were given.
