The Angamaly Sub District Youth Festival, “KALATSAVAM,” was a resounding success, held from October 16 to 19, 2024, at Ramakrishna Advaita Ashrama, Kalady. The event was inaugurated by Swami Srividyananda, School Manager and Adhyaksha of the Ashrama, in the presence of various dignitaries.
“KALATSAVAM” showcased the talents of 5,567 students from 154 schools in the Angamaly Sub District. The festival featured 288 events, including classical dances, solo acting, dramas, group performances, traditional music, and language presentations.
The event attracted approximately 7,000 to 8,000 visitors daily, creating a vibrant atmosphere. The Ashrama and school staff worked diligently to ensure the smooth conduct of the festival, which concluded successfully on October 19.
All participants and volunteers were provided with cooked meals, and winners received personality development books by Swami Vivekananda as a token of appreciation.
