The Annual Conference of the Yuva Parishad, formed under the Uttar Purbanchal–I, Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Bhava Prachar Parishad, was held at Ramakrishna Mission, Digboi, on 26th October 2025.
The conference was graced by Revered Swami Achyuteshanandaji Maharaj, Trustee, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math; Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Narottam Nagar, Arunachal Pradesh; President of the Uttar Purbanchal–I, Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Bhava Prachar Parishad; and Advisor of the Yuva Parishad. Swami Adividyanandaji, representing the Headquarters, also attended the programme. This was notably the first conference of the Yuva Parishad held outside Belur Math.
A total of 76 delegates participated in the conference, which included 23 coordinators, 25 members, 6 presidents, 12 secretaries, and 8 Parishad members.
The proceedings commenced with the lighting of the lamp and offering of arghya at the feet of the Holy Trio, followed by a devotional song rendered by Sri Dibakar Banik of Ramakrishna Ashrama, Pandu. The host Mission felicitated the participating monks and Parishad office bearers. Sri Ankit Das, Convener of the Yuva Parishad, read selected passages from The Works of Swamiji, while Sri Kaushik Bhattacharjee, Joint Convener from Hojai Ashrama, shared reflections from eminent personalities on Swami Vivekananda.
An interactive session between the monks and delegates followed, focusing on the relevance of the Yuva Parishad, its role in youth empowerment, and its significance in addressing employability challenges amidst changing job markets. The monks emphasized the need for a balanced integration of material and spiritual education, inspiring participants to work for the holistic development of the youth and society.
The conference concluded with the collective singing of “Ramakrishna Saranam…”, creating an atmosphere of devotion and unity
