Ramakrishna Math
The following achievements of our students, staff, and institutions of the Ramakrishna Math in the year under review are noteworthy:
1. Kalady Centre
- Best Student Farmer Award:
- A class-4 student received the Best Student Farmer Award from Kalady Krishi Bhavan, Government of Kerala.
- Cultural Competitions:
- Students of the school received nine A grades in state-level cultural competitions hosted by the Kerala State School Kalolsavam.
- Mathematics Talent:
- A student received ‘A’ grade in the state-level Maths Talent Search Examination conducted by the General Education Department, Government of Kerala.
- Sports Achievements:
- Students of the higher secondary school won awards in the Kho Kho National School Games Championship and National Judo School Games.
2. Mysuru Vidyashala
- A student was selected in the Level-1 category for the Sakura programme to visit Japan as part of the 11th INSPIRE-MANAK National-Level Exhibition and Project Competition, conducted by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
Ramakrishna Mission

- Sanmarg Legacy Award:
- Sanmarg, a Hindi daily newspaper, presented the award to the Ramakrishna Mission in recognition of its selfless service to society.

- West Bengal Postal Circle released a picture postcard and pictorial cancellation depicting the Universal Temple of Sri Ramakrishna at Belur Math for Sri Ramakrishna’s birthday.
- A special postal cover was released on Swamiji’s Ancestral House for Swami Vivekananda’s birthday.
2. Student Achievements in Sports, Cultural, and Academic Competitions
Aalo Centre
- A class-3 student won a bronze medal in the state-level Taekwondo Championship.
Chennai Students’ Home
- Polytechnic students: First place in state-level Inter-Polytechnic Technical Symposium (3 students).
- Kho-Kho team: First place in state-level tournament in Trichy (11 students).
- High school students: Second and third place in state-level cultural competitions.
Chennai Vidyapith
- Kabaddi team of Vivekananda College: Champions in University of Madras Inter-Collegiate Tournament.
- Boxing: Gold medal in state-level Boxing Tournament by Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu.
- Cultural: First prize in Times Thyagaraja Award Competition conducted by The Times of India.
Chennai Sarada Vidyalaya
- Class-8 students: First prize in Rangoli competition by State Education Department & Chennai Municipal Corporation.
- Class-12 student: Gold medal in state-level Boxing Tournament, Mayiladuthurai, Tamil Nadu.
- Class-9 student: First prize in 4th national-level Open Silambam Championship, Legend Martial Arts Association of India.
Coimbatore Mission Vidyalaya
- NAAC: A+ grade awarded to the College of Education.
- Maruthi College of Physical Education: Yoga World Record Certificate & Institution of Excellence Award, World Sports Yoga Federation, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
Dehradun Hospital
- Received Nikshay Mitra Award from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, for service to tuberculosis patients under PM TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.
Hatamuniguda Centre
- Academic Olympiads: 18 gold, 10 silver, 7 bronze medals.
- Art Competition: 13 gold medals, 2 trophies.
- Tribal Dance Competition: National-level award, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Bengaluru.
Imphal Centre
- Taekwondo: Silver & bronze medals (national level) by class-4 students.
- Thang-Ta Championship: Bronze medal by class-3 student.
- State-level Taekwondo: 4 gold, 1 bronze (classes 4–6).
- Archery & Gymnastics: Two students secured first rank in state-level competitions.

- Shiksha Samman award by ABP Ananda.
- Inter-EMRS sports meet: Championship title, 19 gold, 7 silver, 8 bronze medals.
