The annual celebration of Ramakrishna Math, Rajkot was observed with various spiritual and cultural programmes from 05 April to 12 April 2026.
The celebration commenced on 05 April with a Bhajan Sandhya programme featuring the renowned bhajan singer Shri Niranjanbhai Pandya. Known for his renditions of ancient Gujarati bhajans, Santvani, and the verses of Gangasati, Shri Pandya’s performance created a deeply spiritual atmosphere for the assembled devotees.
From 06 April to 08 April 2026, a three-day discourse on the Shrimad Bhagavat was conducted by Swami Guneshananda. The discussions focused on the Venu Gita, Hansa Gita, and Bhikshu Gita.
This was followed by a Sangeetmay Katha from 09 April to 11 April 2026. The musical discourse was based on the Sri Ramakrishna Purana, the Gujarati translation of the Sri Ramakrishna Punthi. The sessions were led by Swami Vijayeshananda, supported by a group of devotee-artists.
The annual celebration concluded on 12 April 2026 with a spiritual retreat. The day’s events included the chanting of stotras, bhajans, a question-and-answer session, and discourses delivered by the monks of the Rajkot centre. Participants were presented with spiritual literature and were served bhojan-prasad at the end of the programme.
