The three-day Annual Celebrations at Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Chandigarh, centered on the themes of Swami Vivekananda Day, Maa Sarada Devi Day, and Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna Day, were successfully held on March 20th, 21st, and 22nd, 2026, respectively.
Each day commenced with the lighting of lamps, Vedic chanting, the welcoming of guests with bouquets, and an introductory address by Swami Bhitiharananda.
The programs saw daily attendance of approximately 200, 250, and 270 devotees, respectively. To involve the younger generation, an Essay and Group Discussion competition was conducted for college students, with 29 participants from Chandigarh and nearby regions. To accommodate those who could not find a place in the auditorium, the proceedings were also telecast via projector in the hall below the temple. Packed cooked prasad was distributed to all devotees on all three days.
The Chandigarh editions of “Dainik Bhaskar,” “Amar Ujala,” “Naya Savera,” “The Tribune,” and “The Hindustan Times” provided coverage of all three days of the celebrations.

- Bhajans by: Swami Divyavratananda (RKM Guwahati).
- Day 2: Sri Maa Sarada Devi Day
- Speeches by: Swami Nirvikarananda (Secretary, RKM Indore), Justice Ritu Bahari (Retd.), and Sri Shankha Chaterjee (IAS).
- Bhajans by: Swami Divyavratananda (RKM Guwahati).
- Day 3: Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna Day
- Speeches by: Rev. Swami Atmashraddhananda (RKM Kanpur) and Sri Ashim Kumar Ghosh (Hon’ble Governor of Haryana).
- Bhajans by: Swami Divyavratananda (RKM Guwahati).
