On 26 March 2026, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Hatamuniguda, conducted a Maternity and Child Welfare Services Programme supported by the Infosys Foundation. The initiative provided comprehensive medical and nutritional support to 108 beneficiaries, including 58 antenatal and postnatal mothers and 50 children (up to 3 years of age).
The program’s activities were divided into three key areas:
- Medical Services: General health check-ups and the supply of essential medicines.
- Nutritional Support: Distribution of food supplements including Soya Chunks, Moong Dal, Masoor Dal, Rajma, Flattened Rice, Chhatu, Dates, Iodized Salt, baby cereals (Cerelac Stage 2), and bath soap.
- Health Counselling: Qualified doctors provided guidance on nutrition, maternal care, and pre/post-natal wellbeing.
