Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad was graced by the holy visit of Most Revered Srimat Swami Gautamananda ji Maharaj, President, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, from 23 to 26 July 2026. Throughout the four days, the Ashrama was pervaded by a festive and devotional atmosphere. Thousands of devotees and well-wishers availed themselves of the blessed opportunity to offer their pranams to the Holy Trio and to Most Revered President Maharaj on all four days of the visit.
Spiritual Retreat — Bhakta Sammelan
The highlight of the visit was the Spiritual Retreat — Bhakta Sammelan, held on Sunday, 26 July 2026, from 9.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. Nearly 1,400 devotees participated in the retreat. Most Revered President Maharaj delivered an inspiring spiritual discourse on the glory of Sri Ramakrishna, offering the assembled gathering an opportunity for collective reflection and renewal of devotional resolve.
Launch of AI Cinematic Film on Swami Vivekananda
On the same occasion, Most Revered President Maharaj launched a specially produced AI-generated cinematic film on the life of Swami Vivekananda, depicting his wandering days across India, his profound meditation at Kanyakumari, and his historic addresses at the Parliament of the World’s Religions, Chicago. The film was received with great appreciation by the assembled devotees.
Most Revered President Maharaj commended the production for its quality and vision, and blessed the producing organisation to continue channelling this medium in the service of spreading Swamiji’s universal message to wider audiences.
