A couple of books of Swami Vipulananda in English and Tamil was released by Swami Aksharatmananda at the Batticaloa sub-centre of Colombo Ashrama on 17 November 2021. Published by the Director of Department of Hindu Religious and Cultural Affairs, Government of Sri Lanka, the books are compiled articles of Swami Vipulananda from various sources including The Vedanta Kesari, Prabuddha Bharata, and Sri Ramakrishna Vijayam. Swami Vipulananda, a disciple of Mahapurush Maharaj, who established the first centre at Batticaloa in Sri Lanka is regarded as one of the iconic figures in Sri Lanka.
On the same day, a function was held to mark the Golden Jubilee of Sarada Nursery School.
