On the auspicious occasion of the 130th Foundation Day of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Ramakrishna Mission Students’ Home, Chennai, undertook a summer relief service by distributing free buttermilk to the general public from 1 May 2026 to 2 June 2026.
Throughout the 33-day period, 1,000 glasses of buttermilk were distributed daily, providing much-needed relief to members of the public during the peak of the summer season in Chennai. The total distribution over the course of the programme amounted to approximately 33,000 glasses.
