A solemn and reverent celebration of International Nurses Day was held at the Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Vrindavan, on Monday, 12th May 2026, at 4:30 p.m. The event, conducted at the Swami Vivekananda Auditorium within the Sevashrama campus, honored the selfless dedication of nurses worldwide.

The gathering was addressed by Swami Nikhileswarananda, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Math, Rajkot, who delivered a discourse on the spiritual and moral significance of nursing as a divine service. Dr. Prabha Kumari, Lecturer, College of Nursing, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Medical Sciences & Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi, shared insights on the evolving role of nurses in modern healthcare, emphasizing their critical contribution to patient care and societal well-being.
