Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Dehradun completed the third phase of relief service for flood-affected people of Uttarkashi District, Uttarakhand, on 8 September 2025.
- Maternity kits, specially prepared for safe motherhood and newborn care, were distributed to 70 pregnant women at Bhatwari, Uttarkashi District Hospital, and Dharali.
- Despite landslides and difficult terrain, relief materials were delivered to families in Dharali, including solar lamps, pressure cookers, gas stoves, food provisions, hygiene kits, blankets, sarees, and clothing.
In the fourth phase, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Dehradun continued relief service for families affected by recent calamities in Uttarakhand.
- The phase was carried out with the support and guidance of Sri Chandi Prasad Bhatt, Vice-Chairman of the Border Area Monitoring Council (Govt. of Uttarakhand), and Smt. Poonam Kathait, District Panchayat President, Rudraprayag, ensuring smooth organization and wide reach of the efforts.
- Relief materials (solar lamps, pressure cookers, gas stoves, food provisions, hygiene kits, blankets, sarees, and clothing) were distributed to people in Dharali (Uttarkashi District) and the villages of Taljaman, Thaponi, Uchola, Bhour Gaon, Dungar, Tok Kamand, and Tok Bagad (Rudraprayag District).
- Medical camps were held in Rudraprayag, providing health consultations and essential medicines to villagers who had limited access to healthcare after the disaster.
