A Youth Convention was successfully hosted by the Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Memorial, Vadodara, on September 11, 2025. The convention was specifically organized to commemorate the anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s historic address at the Parliament of Religions in Chicago.
The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of approximately 150 youth from various colleges, focusing on spiritual, cultural, and motivational development.
The program was designed to immerse the attendees in the ideals of Swami Vivekananda and included:
- Spiritual Practice: Sessions began with Chanting and Bhajans to create a focused and devotional atmosphere, followed by Meditation sessions.
- Inspirational Speeches: The core of the convention featured speeches by eminent speakers. They elaborated on the universal message of tolerance, strength, and character-building championed by Swami Vivekananda, urging the youth to apply these principles in their modern lives.
The convention served as a powerful platform to motivate the youth to imbibe values of courage, self-confidence, and service to society, aligning with the organizational motto of ‘For one’s own salvation and for the welfare of the world.’
