On the auspicious day of Rakhi Purnima and the tithi of Srimat Swami Niranjananandaji Maharaj, 9 August 2025, Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar, commenced the construction work of the 200-bedded super-specialty building at the Heli-Pad. The occasion was marked by a small yet solemn ceremony, beginning with Dasha Upachar Puja of Sri Sri Ramakrishna at the prayer hall, followed by Arghya Pradan with Kapur Arati at the construction site, in the presence of monks, doctors, nurses, and a few staff members.
The stone-laying (groundbreaking) ceremony for this project had earlier been graciously performed by Sri Pema Khandu, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, on Rakhi Purnima, the tithi of Srimat Swami Niranjananandaji Maharaj, 22 August 2021.
