Ramakrishna Math, Baghbazar is continuing the relief services among the poor and needy people of Baghbazar slum area.
On 11 May 2020, the centre distributed some food items among 1,180 families (5,900 beneficiaries) residing at 1/1C & 1/5 & 1/4 & 1/2 Cossipore Road, 1/17 &1/29 & 1/35 & 2 No. Ghosh Bagan lane, Kripa Nath Dutta Road, Lock Gate Road, K. D. N. Road, Chitpur Road, K. L. Das Road, Kali Prasanna Singh Road, Dal patty, 1/2/H/10 & 7/6 R. P. Road Cossipore, Haridhan Dutta Lane, Sarva Mangala Ghat, Dilar Jung Road.
On 09 May 2020, the centre distributed ration kits to 1,075 families residing at Umakanta Lane, T.C. Ghosh Lane, Rani Harshamukhi Road, 61/3 B.T. Road, 16 & 18 & 26/59 Dumdum Road, Bari Para Lane, Sri N. Mukherjee Road, 21 Mitrabagan, 14/01 Umakanta Sen Lane, Ganguli Para Lane, in and around Kolkata.
On 08 May 2020, the centre distributed ration kits to 1,142 families residing at 4K & 1A Gossain Lane, 3/H/5 & 2/H/4 Raja Sir Radha Kanta Lane, Prankrishna Mukherjee Road, Sethpukur Road, Panchanan Mukherjee Road, M.S.C. Lane, Priyanath Mukherjee Road.
On 07 May 2020, the centre distributed ration kits to 1,227 families residing at 488/4 & 520 & 527 Rabindra Sarani, 108 Shyambazar Street, Gokul Mitra Lane, Lalbagan, Madan Mohan tala, Anath Nath Deb Lane, Belgachia Road, B. T. Road, Khelat Babu Lane, Indra Biswas Lane, Nilmoni Mitra Row, Banamali Chatterjee Street.
On 06 May 2020, the centre distributed ration kits to 1141 families residing at Kashi Mitra Ghat Lane, Raja Rajballav Street, Lakshmi Dutta Lane, Radha Madhab Goswami Lane, 79 & 80 Shyam Bazar Street, 11 & 14 Rashik Mitra Lane, Girish Avenue, Ramakanta Bose Street, Kumartuli Street, Ganga Prasad Lane, Madhu Paul Lane, Durga Charan Banerjee Street
On 05 May 2020, the centre distributed ration kits to 286 families residing at 20 P.K. Mukherjee Road near Baghbazar Math.
From 27 March to 29 April 2020, Baghbazar ashrama has distributed (1) Rice- 55,654 kg, (2) Dal- 11,075 kg, (3) Potato- 33,225 kg, (4) Soyabean- 11,075 kg, (5) Milk powder- 605.2 kg (400 gram pkt. For Children), (6) Soap- 8,000pcs, (7) Salt- 5,537kg, (8) Cooking oil- 616.6 ltr, (9) Sugar- 2,300 kg, (10) Chili powder- 400kg, (11) Dhania powder- 400kg, (12) Turmeric powder- 950kg, (13) Dates- 514kg, (14) Besan- 2,125kg, (15) Raw gran-3,990 kg, (16) Flour- 596kg.
13,075 families (65,375 heads), poor and needy, have been benefited.

On 28 April 2020, the centre distributed food some items among the 543 families (2715 Person) residing at 16/2/A & 17/1 Baghbazar Street, 24/1/B Durga Charan Mukherjee street, 47/A & 47/1A & 47/1B Shyambazar Street, Olai Chandi Road, Ghosh Bagan, Chitpur.
On 24 April 2020, Baghbazar ashrama distributed food items among the 660 families (about 3300 person) poor and needy families residing at 503 and 431/C Rabindra Sarani, 23/H/15 and 23 Baghbazar Street, Ramkanta Bose Street, Sikbar Bagan Street, Gurucharan Lane, 9 Abhay Ghosh Lane, Rashik Ghosh Lane,17 Beniatola Street, 111 M. D Road, 9/5 K. B. Road, 5 Nather Bagan .
The center also distributed Dates, sugar, besan and gram to 134 Muslim Families (about 670 Person) in connection with Ramjan.

On 23 April 2020, Baghbazar ashrama distributed food items among the 695 families (about 3475 person) poor and needy families residing at Belgachia, in and around Baghbazar slum area, 1, 2 and 3, Raja Debendranarayan Dev Lane (Sovabazar), 5, 20 and 170 Ahiritola Street, 6 Sen Lane (Ahiritola), 24 Sovabazar street, 22 A, 5 and 8 Nather Bagan Street, Nandalal Bose Lane.
The center also distributed Dates, sugar, besan and gram to 1000 Muslim Families in connection with Ramjan.
On 22 April 2020, Baghbazar ashrama distributed food items among the 820 families (about 4100 Person) residing at Jhill Road, 96 and 99 Cossipore Road, Rajabagan, Lalababu Lane, Gopal Mukherjee Lane, Lichu Bagan, K. L. Das Road, Bibi Bazar, Soudagar Patty from our Baghbazar Math.
The center has distributed (1) 820 kg. Sugar, (2) 205 kg. Dates, (3) 820 kg. Besan, (4) 1640 kg. Raw gram among the poor and needy Muslim families on the occasion of Ramzan.
On 20 April 2020, the ashrama distributed food items among the 503 families (2515 Person) to Nather Bagan Lane (Kol-5), Kripanath Lane (Ward No.- 9), B.K. Pal Lane, 3. Mohan Bagan Lane (Kolkata-4), 6 No. Shyampukur (Slum area).
The center has distributed (1) 2515 kg. Rice, (2) 503 kg. Dal, (3) 1509 kg. Potato, (4) 251.5 kg. Salt, (5) 503 kg. Soybean (6) 503 pcs. Bathing soap, (7) 50.3 kg. Turmeric Powder (8) 50.3 kg. Chili Powder (9) 50.3 kg. Dhania Powder (10) 20 pkt. (500 gram) Milk Powder to poor and needy families.
On 19 April 2020, the ashrama has distributed food items among the 541 families (2705 Person) to Haridhan Dutta Lane (Cossipore Road), 96 Cossipore, 96/H Cossipore Road, Aheritola, Tarnar Road (Chitpore aria) from our Baghbazar Math.
The ashrama has distributed (1) 2705 kg. Rice, (2) 541 kg. Dal, (3) 1623 kg. Potato, (4) 270.5 kg. Salt, (5) 541 kg. Soybean (6) 541 pcs. Bathing soap, (7) 54.1 kg. Turmeric Powder (8) 54.1 kg. Chili Powder (9) 54.1 kg. Dhania Powder (10) 30 pkt. (500 gram) Milk Powder to poor and needy families.
From 12 to 18 April 2020, the ashrama has served 3635 families with essential food items, in and around Baghbazar slum area, Ghosh Bagan 1/29, Lock Gate Ward No-6, Babutala 458 Railway Quarters slum area, Gallif Street slum aria Sovabazar, Kashimitra Ghat and Ahiritola in Kolkata.
In the wake of lockdown owing to COVID-19 pandemic, Ramakrishna Math, Baghbazar started Relief services among the poor and needy people of Baghbazar Slum area. From 2 to 4 April 2020, the Ashrama served 2000 families with essential food items like 5 kg. Rice, 3 kg. Potato, 1 kg. Dal, 1 kg Pack Soya-Been and 500 gms Nestle Milk Powder for children.
