As part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Universal Temple of Sri Ramakrishna at the Ramakrishna Advaita Ashrama, Kalady, and in observance of the Onam festival, a saree distribution programme was organised on 12 August 2026 for poor and needy women of the surrounding area.
Following the evening Arati, 50 sarees were distributed to the beneficiaries. Swami Srividyananda presided over the distribution on the occasion.
