On 19 April 2020, as a part of COVID-19 relief work, Advaita Ashrama at Mayavati distributed sweatshirts, shirts, toothpaste, toothbrush, bathing soap, body oil and biscuit packets to 31 persons at Lohaghat and 40 persons at Champawat. In all 71 poor wage earners stranded at these respective places were given relief kits.
