Ramakrishna Mission Medinipur : COVID-19 Pandemic Relief Services


Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Medinipur, is continuing the relief services.

The ashrama distributed Potato- 700kg, Dal-200kg, Mustard Oil-60 litre, salt- 300kg, Soyabin-80kg, Washing soap- 354 pcs. among 400 families at Pingla Paschim Medinipur, 40km from 15 May – 17 May 2020

On 07 May & 10 May 2020, the ashrama distributed Potato- 1000kg, Dal-250kg, Mustard Oil-100 litre, salt- 500kg, Soyabin-100kg, Washing soap- 500 pcs. among 500 families of Bagmari and kuchakala, Paschim Medinipur, 30km from Ashrama.

On 27 April 2020 the ashrama distributed Rice- 400kg, Potato- 400kg, Dal-80kg, Mustard Oil-40 litre, salt- 100kg, Soyabin-40kg, Washing soap- 200 pcs. Among 200 families at Goaldanga, Chandra and Narayangarh, Paschim Medinipur, 40km from Ashrama.

On 25 April 2020, the Medinipur ashrama has distributed Rice- 400kg, Potato- 400kg, Dal-80kg, Mustard Oil-40 litre, salt- 100kg, Soyabin-40kg, Washing soap- 200 pcs. Among 200 families, poor and needy, at Matkatpur and Narayangarh, Paschim Medinipur, 40km from the ashrama.

On 20 April 2020, the ashrama has distributed Rice- 600kg, Potato- 600kg, Dal-120kg, Mustard Oil-60 litre, salt- 150kg, Soyabin-30kg, Washing soap- 300 pcs, among 300 poor and needy families, at Satpati, Salboni, Paschim Medinipur, 30 kms from the ashrama.

On 10 April 2020, the ashrama has distributed ration kits (rice, potato, dal) and washing soaps to 200 needy families in Gila Geria village in Kesiyari, 35 kms from the ashrama.


In the wake of the global outbreak of coronavirus (COVID 19), Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Medinipur has distributed food items to needy families on 1 April 2020.

The ashrama has distributed uncooked food items to 200 families, most of whom are daily wage earning tribal and scheduled caste families, living around 3 kms away from the ashrama. The food items distributed are rice-2kg, patato-2kgs, and dal -200 grams.
