Ramakrishna Math, Chandipur has started the YAAS cyclone relief services in Purba Medinipur Areas, which includes Mandarmani, Khejuri-2 and other affected areas of Chandipur Block since 27 May 2021.
The ashrama has started six community kitchens where cooked food is served to around 1200 people at noon and at night.
The centre distributed rations to around 900 people and distributed food, Biscuit, Milk etc, to around 300 children.
The centre helped 350 people affected by the cyclone Yaas, who took shelter at Kandapasara Deshpran High School, Purba Medinipur, by distributing ration kits, sanitiser, mask and cooked food.
