Ramakrishna Math, Chandipur, successfully organized a Two-Day Devotees’ Convention (Anudhyan Shibir) on November 8 and 9, 2025. The convention’s central purpose was to rekindle the divine bond between God and the devotee, and foster spiritual unity amongst the participants themselves.
Participation and Blessings: Around 110 participants joined the celebration. The devotees were deeply blessed by the presence and benedictory speeches of Swami Bodhasaranandaji Maharaj, Swami Ritanandaji Maharaj, Swami Shrutisaranandaji Maharaj, and Swami Suprasannanandaji Maharaj. Monks from the Math, along with the esteemed guest speakers, contributed significantly to this two-day spiritual Yajna.
Programme Highlights:
The comprehensive program focused on the teachings and lives of the Holy Trio (Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda) through multiple sessions:
- Discourses: Enlightening discussions were held on the lives of Sri Ramakrishna and Sri Sarada Devi, their relationship with devotees, the Bengali tradition of worshipping God as Mother, the art of selfless action in light of the Holy Trio’s teachings, and the principle of “work is worship.”
- Spiritual Practice: The retreat included daily devotional activities such as Bhajan, Sandhya Arati & Mangalarati darshan, Japa & Meditation, Morning Chanting, Pushpanjali, and Sevayoga (service as worship).
The spiritual nourishment was complemented by physical nourishment, as Sri Sri Thakur’s Prasadam (lunch) was lovingly served among the devotees to sustain them physically and mentally.
