In response to the prevailing needs of the underprivileged sections of society, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Hatamuniguda, conducted distress relief services in the Rayagada district on 13 and 27 April 2026.
During these two phases of distribution, essential items were provided to 230 families residing in 11 different villages of the district. The relief materials were distributed with the aim of providing both nutritional support and daily necessities to those in distress.
The following items were distributed among the beneficiaries:
- Sarees: 130 pieces
- Water Bottles: 230 pieces
- Glucon-C Orange (450g): 130 packets
- Shampoo: 130 bottles
- Olive Oil: 130 bottles
- Toothpaste: 130 tubes
- ORS: 100 sachets
- Utensil Sets: 100 sets
(Each set comprised a Handi with cover, Kadai, Khunti, Hata, Gamla, Thala, Glass, Bati, a small plate, and a plastic bucket.)
The relief operations were conducted in a disciplined and dignified manner, ensuring that the aid reached the most deserving households in the remote areas of the district.
