On November 5, 2024, as part of its ongoing relief efforts, the Ramakrishna Mission in Indore distributed essential items to 540 tribal children from 170 families in Kherwani village, Barwani District, M.P. Situated along the banks of the Narmada River, this remote region, known as “Shulpani Jhadi,” received 540 T-shirts, 540 track pants, and 540 packets of sweets as part of the Mission’s fourth phase of relief.
On November 24, 2024, the Mission extended its support to 207 underprivileged families in Indore, providing 207 blankets, 207 sarees, and 207 packets of sweets to families in Laxmipuri, near the brick kiln area, Anaj Mandi, and the Kandilpura slum.
Additionally, on November 30, 2024, the Mission continued its relief work by distributing 169 T-shirts, 169 track pants, 60 sweaters, and 45 packets of sweets to 169 tribal children from 45 families in Tuwar Kheda village, also in Barwani District.
Earlier, from November 29 to December 5, 2023, the Ramakrishna Mission served 750 blankets and 750 sarees to 750 poor and migrant worker families, many of whom work as chili pluckers in the rural areas of Kalda village in Bhikangaon tehsil, Khargone district.
