Distress Relief Service: Vadodara, May 2026

Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Memorial, Vadodara

During the month of May 2026, the Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Memorial, Vadodara, distributed free ration kits to needy families at three locations, serving a total of 80 families.

On 3 May 2026, ration kits were distributed to 40 needy families through Ramakrishna Math, Bhuj. Each kit contained wheat flour (6 kg), rice (2 kg), mung fada (1 kg), pulses (1 kg), cooking oil (1 kg), sugar (1 kg), and tea powder (250 gm). A total of 490 kg of provisions was distributed.

On 8 May 2026, ration kits were distributed to 20 needy families through Ramakrishna Math, Adipur. Each kit contained wheat flour (4 kg), rice (3 kg), pulses (1 kg), cooking oil (500 ml), salt (1 kg), sugar (1 kg), tea powder (250 gm), turmeric powder (100 gm), chilli powder (100 gm), mustard (100 gm), and one bath soap. A total of 223 kg of provisions was distributed.

On 18 May 2026, ration kits were distributed to 20 visually impaired families at the Ashrama. Each kit contained wheat flour (10 kg), rice (3 kg), pulses (1.5 kg), cooking oil (1 kg), salt (1 kg), sugar (1 kg), tea powder (250 gm), turmeric powder (100 gm), and chilli powder (100 gm). A total of 359 kg of provisions was distributed.

In all, 80 families were served and approximately 1,072 kg of essential provisions were distributed during the month.
