Distribution of Sarees and Garments: Nabadwip, September 2025

Ramakrishna Mission, Nabadwip

In September 2025, Ramakrishna Mission, Nabadwip, conducted extensive distress relief operations, distributing a large quantity of garments and clothing to needy communities across both Nadia and Purba Bardhaman districts. The relief work spanned six locations in the Nadia District, specifically Bablari, Mahishura, Nabadwip town, Swarupganj, Ballaldighi, and Idrakpur, alongside two locations in the Purba Bardhaman District: Jahannagar and Bikrampur.

Garments Distributed

A substantial total of 1,490 garments and ready-made sets were distributed during this effort. The distribution included 1,050 sarees, 200 lungis, 25 dhotis, and 25 uttariyas for adults. Additionally, the Mission distributed several types of ready-made sets: 41 frock/leggings sets, 62 kurti/leggings sets, and 87 pajama/Punjabi sets. This comprehensive distribution provided essential clothing items to vulnerable people in all the identified areas of both districts.
