Ramakrishna Mission, Davanagere, conducted a two-phase relief distribution program to support needy women in the surrounding rural areas. The initiative was organized to commemorate the birth anniversary of Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi.
Phase I: Holy Mother’s Birthday Celebrations
On 8 December 2025 and 4 January 2026, commemorative programs were held at the Mission’s Rural Bati centre.
- Saree Distribution: 305 sarees were distributed to women from nearby villages.
- Anna Prasada: Approximately 330 attendees were served sanctified food (Anna Prasada) during the events.
- Spiritual Program: The events featured devotional Bhajans and short inspirational talks delivered by monastics and devotees.
Phase II: Village Outreach
The second phase focused on direct outreach to specific local villages to ensure the relief reached those in remote areas:
- Rajagonda Village: 148 sarees distributed.
- Doggalli Village: 82 sarees distributed.

Conclusion
