A cloth distribution programme was organised by Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Guwahati on 10 October 2026, on the occasion of Mahalaya. A total of 600 saris were distributed among poor and needy people of the Birubari, Sadhupatty, Arya Nagar and Borjhar areas of Guwahati.
At the Ashrama premises, Guwahati, 490 saris were distributed to residents of the Birubari, Sadhupatty and Arya Nagar areas, benefitting 490 families. At Borjhar, 110 saris were distributed, benefitting 110 families.
