The Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Muzaffarpur, conducted a phased distribution program to provide essential clothing assistance to needy women in the surrounding villages during the latter part of 2025.

This phased approach allowed the Sevashrama to serve numerous remote locations effectively before the onset of the peak winter season.
Villages Covered
The relief effort successfully reached women in the following villages across the Muzaffarpur district:
- Jhapaha, Udhan
- Majhaulia, Buchaha
- Shivraha-Chaturbhuj, Buchaha
- Muksudpur, Minapur
- Dharampur, Minapur
- Padmaul, Kurhani
- Bela-Kanhauli, Mushahari
Impact
A total of 300 sarees were distributed directly to needy women in these villages. The provision of new sarees is not only a practical form of relief but also an act that restores dignity and self-respect to the recipients. The service was met with great gratitude from the beneficiaries, reinforcing the Sevashrama’s commitment to providing targeted welfare to marginalized sections of the community.
