On 9 May 2026, Ramakrishna Math, Nattarampalli, organised a distribution of sewing machines for the benefit of underprivileged women. A total of 22 sewing machines were distributed to 22 women trainees of the Vaniyambadi Tailoring Unit — a vocational initiative of the Math — who had successfully completed the prescribed six-month tailoring course.
The total expenditure incurred for the procurement and distribution of 22 sewing machines was Rs. 79,200/- (Rupees Seventy-Nine Thousand and Two Hundred only).
