Ramakrishna Math, Puri trained 17 women from its Vocational Training Centre (Tailoring) have successfully completed their year-long course (June 2023 – May 2024). These talented individuals have honed their skills in creating beautiful garments, including salwar-kameez for ladies and frocks and pants for children.
To celebrate their achievement, the Math held a special function on June 30th, 2024, in the Community Hall. Swami Atmaprabhananda, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Math, Bhubaneswar, graced the occasion as the chief guest. He distributed certificates of aptitude to all the graduates and presented sewing machines to 10 deserving underprivileged trainees.
This initiative empowers these women and equips them with the skills to become self-sufficient. Ramakrishna Math, Puri, is dedicated to supporting the local community and fostering women’s empowerment.
