Ramakrishna Mission, Thirumukkudal, in association with Sankara Eye Hospital, Pammal, Chennai, organised a free eye camp on 30 August 2026 at Arumpuliyur village, extending its reach to the surrounding villages of Seethanancheri, Seethavaram, and Pazhaveri.
A total of 104 patients from the local community were screened during the camp. Of these, 52 patients were provided with spectacles free of charge, and 14 patients were identified as requiring cataract surgery and admitted as in-patients for the same.
