Ramakrishna Mission, Thirumukkudal, in association with Sankara Eye Hospital, Pammal, Chennai, organized a comprehensive eye camp on 18 January 2026 at Kaliapettai village. The camp served several neighboring areas, including Orakattupettai, Kavithandalam, Pulipakkam, and Sathanacheri.
During the camp, a total of 108 patients were screened (48 males and 60 females). Based on the screenings, 50 patients received prescription eyeglasses (14 males and 36 females), and 17 patients (3 males and 14 females) were identified and transported for cataract surgery.
