Ramakrishna Mission, Mumbai, successfully conducted a One-Day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Thursday, November 20, 2025, for educators across the Mumbai region. The programme was designed to nurture inner strength, emotional balance, and spiritual well-being among teachers.
Participation: Approximately 85 faculty members from 23 institutions and colleges actively participated in the FDP.
Session Highlights:
- Opening Session (Holistic Living): Swami Dayadhipananda inaugurated the program, speaking on topics essential for holistic living, including pranayama, meditation, and meaningful lifestyle changes.
- Emotional and Spiritual Intelligence: Prof. (Dr.) Vipul Vyas delivered a session emphasizing the critical role of emotional and spiritual intelligence in the overall holistic development of educators.
- The Lamplighter Educator Program: The final session, conducted by the Illumine Knowledge Resources Team, introduced the ‘Lamplighter Educator Program,’ encouraging teachers to rediscover joy, purpose, and fulfilment in their profession.
Participants were served wholesome, holistic food throughout the day (including breakfast, lunch, snacks, and refreshments). The programme concluded with the distribution of participation certificates. The event was highly appreciated for offering valuable insights for the professional and personal growth of the attending educators.
