Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Bhubaneswar conducted a flood relief distribution from 1 September 2026 to 24 September 2026. The programme covered 32 villages and places in five locations: Simulia in Jajpur District, Ghatapur and Madhupur in Bhadrak District, and Baliapal and Basta in Baleshwar District, Odisha. In all, 2,100 families were reached, benefitting a total of 6,081 people.
The relief materials distributed comprised 4,200 packets of biscuits (Britannia Marie Gold, 320 g, and Good Day, 52 g), 2,100 saris, 2,100 lungis, 2,100 gamchhas and 2,100 pieces of soap. Each of the 2,100 families received two packets of biscuits, one sari, one lungi, one gamchha and one piece of soap.
