As part of its ongoing humanitarian response to the recent floods in Odisha, Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Bhubaneswar conducted relief distribution operations across two districts, extending aid to affected families in Jajpur and Khurda districts.
Distribution at Mallikapur Panchayat, Jajpur District
On 2 August 2026, dry food items were distributed among flood-affected residents across nine wards of Mallikapur Panchayat, Dasarathapur Block, Jajpur District. A total of 5,000 beneficiaries received assistance comprising 2,500 kg of flattened rice (chira) and 1,000 kg of jaggery (gur).
Distribution at Orbersingh Panchayat, Khurda District
On 5 August 2026, relief operations were extended to the villages of Hirimula and Dihakhala under Orbersingh Panchayat, Khurda District. A total of 160 relief kits were distributed among 160 families. Each kit contained the following items:
