In response to the severe flood situation in the district of Malda, West Bengal, Ramakrishna Mission Headquarters, Belur Math, conducted a flood relief distribution programme on 14 and 15 September 2026, through Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Malda. Relief materials were distributed across multiple points in Manikchak Block, reaching families sheltered at institutional premises as well as individual villagers in scattered, low-lying habitations. A total of approximately 790 individuals and families were served over the two days.
