Flood Relief at Ghatal Subdivision by Ramakrishna Mission, Medinipur

Ramakrishna Mission, Medinipur, is continuing the flood relief services in the Ghatal subdivision. From 5 August to 11 August 2021, the centre covered 9 villages of Daspur Block-1, including Ramdaspur, Narjola, Kalyanpur, Dubarajpur, Amdanga, Jhalka, and 20 villages of Ghatal Block, including Irapala, Prasadchak, Srimantpur, Soai, Lakshmanpur, Jaukundu, Anandapur, about 80Km away from Medinipur centre. The centre distributed ration kits containing Masoor Dal 1.5 kg, Soyabin 500 gm, Milk Powder 200gm, Mustard Oil .500 litre, Biscuits, soap, Salt, spices, Sanitizer and Mask to 1,010 families.


Ramakrishna Mission, Medinipur, is continuing the flood relief services. On 8 August 2021, the ashrama conducted relief operation with food materials (masoor daal, soyabin, mustard oil, milk powder, biscuits, soap, spices, etc.) covering three flood devastated areas — Srimantapur, Prasadchak and Irhpala, some 16 km away from Ghatal town, under the Ghatal Block. Total beneficiary — 2886 people.


Ramakrishna Mission, Medinipur, started flood relief on 5 August 2021 at Narajole, Daspur block-1, under Ghatal subdivision among the flood devastated people covering 9 villages (total beneficiary- 613 people ) with dry ration kits, which contains masoor daal, soybean chunks, mustard oil, spices, salt, biscuits, soap, milk powder etc.

The Ashrama will also start relief services at Irhpala, Prasad Chak and Srimantapur, under the Ghatal subdivision.
