Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony: Viveknagar, Agartala, January 2026

On January 18, 2026, a significant foundation-laying ceremony was held at Ramakrishna Mission, Viveknagar, Agartala. Swami Suvirananda ji Maharaj, General Secretary of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, formally laid the foundation stones for two major infrastructure projects designed to expand the center’s educational and healthcare services:


Project Details

  1. ITI Complex Expansion:
    • Scope: Construction of a new two-storied building.
    • Objective: To enhance the vocational training facilities and accommodate the growing technical education needs of the students.
  2. “Niramay” Charitable Dispensary Annex:
    • Scope: Construction of a G+3 (Ground plus three floors) annex building.
    • Objective: To significantly scale up the healthcare capacity of the charitable dispensary, providing improved medical services to the surrounding community.
