A Free Eye Camp was organised by Ramakrishna Mission, Chengalpattu, on behalf of Sri Ramakrishna Math, Chennai, at Vilanganur, Chengalpattu District, on 28th June 2026, as part of the Mission’s ongoing medical and humanitarian service activities.
A total of 90 patients were screened during the camp, comprising 28 male and 62 female beneficiaries. Of these, 15 patients (04 male and 11 female) were found to require surgical intervention for cataract and were accordingly admitted to an eye hospital in Chennai for the procedure. Additionally, 50 patients (19 male and 31 female) were provided with free spectacles following examination.
