On 17 March 2026, the Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri, held a formal ceremony for the handing over of its renovated, refurbished, and extended dispensary building. The project was completed to enhance the Ashrama’s capacity to provide charitable medical services to the underprivileged sections of society.
The upgraded facility was formally handed over by Sri Prashant Sahu, Senior Divisional Manager of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), Jalpaiguri Division. The event was attended by officials from LIC, monastics, and devotees. As a token of appreciation, the Ashrama authorities presented books to the LIC officials before concluding the program with refreshments.
