Message of Swami Suvirananda ji, on the inauguration of the M.Sc. in Medical Biotechnology at RKMVERI (Narendrapur campus).
Swami Suvirananda ji, General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, is also the Chancellor of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute (RKMVERI), a deemed university.
RKMVERI (Narendrapur campus) has started M.Sc. in Medical Biotechnology, in addition to the existing courses, under the newly started School of Biological Sciences. One of the reasons for starting this course is the coronavirus pandemic which is wreaking havoc all over the world. The pandemic has shown the vulnerability of human society in spite of all our advancements in medical sciences. Hence further studies and research are needed to stop such outbreaks of pandemics in future. Starting of this course is an attempt in this direction.
