Inauguration of Kitchen and Dining Hall : Bamunmura, September 2024

The newly constructed kitchen and dining hall of Ramakrishna Math, Bamunmura, was inaugurated by Swami Suviranandaji Maharaj, General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, on Monday, 15 September 2025 at 11 a.m., coinciding with the birthday Tithi Puja of Swami Abhedanandaji Maharaj.

The occasion was graced by Swami Bodhasaranandaji Maharaj, Assistant General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, along with hundreds of devotees and monks from different centres of the Order. A religious discourse followed, presided over by the General Secretary Maharaj.

Swami Durgatmananda, Adhyaksha of the centre, welcomed the revered Swamis, devotees, and well-wishers present. Swami Bodhasaranandaji highlighted the importance of Bamunmura centre and its allied activities. In his presidential address, the General Secretary Maharaj spoke on the significance of the Ramakrishna Sangha, its role in spiritual and social upliftment, and also shed light on the life and contributions of Srimat Swami Shankaranandaji Maharaj.

The event concluded with the soulful congregational singing of “Ramakrishna Saranam.” About 130 monks participated in the Sadhu Bhandara, while around 300 devotees partook of the noon prasad.
