Inauguration of the Main Temple Entrance Gate (1 November 2025)
The newly constructed Main Temple Entrance Gate was inaugurated by Swami Bodhasarananda ji Maharaj, Asst. General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, in the presence of Sri Bharat Singh Kushwah, Hon’ble MP, Gwalior, and Sri Jai Prakash Rajoria, President, Gwalior District BJP.
The occasion included a special worship of Sri Sri Thakur and Hawan. Around 150 devotees attended and received noon bhog prasad.
The date holds special significance as it marks the official takeover of Gwalior Ashrama by the Headquarters. To honour the musical heritage of Gwalior—the birthplace of Tansen—and in tribute to Swamiji, whose Sangeet Kalpataru was first published in 1887, a special “Sangeet Kalpataru Day” cultural evening was organised.
Programme Highlights:
- Instrumental presentation by The Swarantar Band, Gwalior
- Kalikirtan by artists from Kolkata
- Classical vocal recital by Swami Kripakarananda ji of RKM Delhi
- Classical music performance by Pandit Ramesh Kulkarni, Coimbatore, accompanied by Ustad Jagdeesh Kurthkoti on Tabla
63rd School Annual Day Celebration (31 October 2025)
The 63rd Annual Day of the CBSE and MPBSE Schools was celebrated on the theme “Sanskriti Sangam.”
Sri Satish Sikarwar, Hon’ble MLA, Gwalior, graced the event as Chief Guest. The programme was presided over by Swami Bodhasarananda ji Maharaj.
Around 1200 students and parents attended. Dinner was served to all after the programme.
